You have to sperate yourself from those that hold you back. Ask yourself, "Is this person helping me or hurting me?" Some people you can only afford to spend a few hours with. Spend time with like minded people, as yourself or with people on the same mission as you.

Positive listening

As Christians, we are not exempt from hard times. We have to lean on the rock.
